REFLECTION
Experiences
I gained various experiences throughout completing the tasks given in this module. I was able to learn about the basics of publishing design from the beginning of deciding on a book size to laying out different compositional layouts on the book from the exercises. I took some time creating content for my task two but despite the longer amount of time taken, I was able to express my thoughts and my emotions into my book. It was enjoyable that I got a chance to visualize my memories and experiences in a printed book where I built up every stage of the process with suitable publishing settings. Task 3 allowed me to explore different design styles and determine which style fits my brand's identity the most. It was also insightful to learn various new tools on Adobe InDesign where I learned to publish digital files online with interactivity. Overall, publishing design taught me valuable knowledge and experiences that strengthened my graphic design abilities.
Observation
I observed that the overall process of publishing design takes a long time and attention in order to create something unique. Paying attention to the type of content of a book is also important in conveying the exact feeling in a physically printed book in many styles.
Findings
I learned that there is a lot of crucial knowledge required to enhance the quality of publishing. Every tiny detail plays a part in building a complete book.
