Week 02
General Feedback:
- Don't be descriptive when writing a report, reflect on your creative thinking point.
- Keep in mind to think of the design aspect as well when writing.
Specific Feedback:
- Look into different types of movies and explore their prop design / poster designs
- Don't let the research problem be a question.
Week 03
General Feedback:
Try to collect data from recent years.
Make sure there is a connection and a flow in the paragraphs in terms of storytelling.
Specific Feedback:
Focus the research topic on posters.
Search and read more research articles related to the topic.
Have matching research objectives and questions.
Week 04
Specific Feedback:
Match the Research objectives and questions, and make sure they relate to each other.
Try to elaborate further on the paragraph about the role of typography.
Week 05
General Feedback:
Make sure to write the specified date and year of the released article.
Update the end of the problem statement (refer to week 4 feedback)
Practice using direct citations and avoid saying “in this article”
No need to repeat the title of the research article in the summary as it is already specified in the reference.
Continue to update the critical reviews 2 and 3
Make sure to focus on your own review for the conclusion, strengths and weaknesses.
Week 06
General Feedback:
Relook into the conclusion in CR1. The conclusion now looks more like a conclusion of a methodology rather than my opinion about the article itself, try to elaborate whether I agree with the researcher’s statement.
You don’t have to include a reference list within each CR if there is no citation added. Use citations in the review section to prove your point from the other article.
Check the APA writing format booklet to correctly write references.
Week 07
General Feedback:
Read the submission instructions carefully, only 1 PDF is needed for submission.
Do not write in the first person’s view- instead, write from the third person’s view.
Keep in mind that the minimum number of survey answers is at least 80 answers.
Add contributions related to your proposal in the reviewer’s conclusion section.
For CR3 review, replace the phrase “originality” with the “researcher’s intention to achieve the goal”.
Week 08
General Feedback:

Week 10
General Feedback:
Use the official movie posters in the analysis.
Specific Feedback:
Add reasonings why you selected these poster samples (Data Collection).
Add literature supporting from other
articles under each selected section to support the idea (3.4 Selected samples). Provide enough evidence to justify your direction.
Week 11
Specific Feedback:
Add specific literature supporting in your statements in the visual analysis for an in-depth weight analysis.
Add a brief synopsis of the movie posters being introduced. State a reason why these genres were chosen out of other genres.
Make sure to call the posters by their figure number and make it a habit.
Week 12
Specific Feedback: Prepare presentation designs for next week.
Week 13
Specific Feedback: Make sure the content in the presentation isn't too lengthy.
